Game 55: Lakers vs. Bobcats

Something seems... Off with the Lakers.

I don't know if it's Ron Artest not playing up to par, or if Andrew Bynum is still hurting, but something is definitely wrong there.

Getting beat by the Magic, and then getting housed by the Bobcats is not going to sit well with Kobe, I can guarantee that.

A Matt Carroll and Sharron Collins sighting - Paul clears the bench in a rout. I love how pissed off Kobe gets when things don't go his way. He should know by now, when he goes up against the Bobcats, how the story goes. You play, you get mad, you commit lots of fouls, you shoot a few frustration airballs, you check out early.

Later, bitch.

Im gonna be honest, I'm not a huge NBA guy. I love that Charlotte finally gotta team so I can say I root for someone, but this team and last years team really has sold me on being a fan. Great win and hopefully the Bobcats can make it where the panthers cant, the post season. With wins over Boston and Lakers, the two teams "to beat" in the NBA, I'm confident we will see Charlotte in the playoffs.

With losses to the Pacers(a new Pacers team though) and Nets, I'm not so confident.

    • We dont know how anyone feels about going forward with bryce, nobody has asked anyone the question.  We do know through actions that there is no fuging way Canales overly trusts him behind center.  I dont know after 30+ games how the hell you couldnt have a concrete opinion by now. Ellis was all over fnz and twitter today screaming about "letting it play out".  What the fug is 5 games going to show you after all we have seen?  Everyone but a few on here rightly, thought he had turned the proverbial corner last year.  It was clearly smoke and mirrors.   He could win out and they still have to bring in competition, you simply cannot risk it again him being dogshit to start the year and then when he levels out its the classic sub 200 games. I half assed looked for the quote from whatever writer (maybe it was on a podcast) about how after the atl game running it back was a real possibility with Dalton and bryce.  There is simply no way that could possibly happen.  No way.  Thats some playground poo.
