No, but saying Vick "sucked" when he was with Atlanta is silly.

I think Cam would be much better than Vick, he's never had issues with work ethic.

I didn't say that. Overall he was flashy just wasn't too much to get excited about in terms of winning championships.

If Cam can to to Atlanta's defense, what Vick did to ours, then I would be ecstatic...especially since he's a better pocket passer than Vick was coming out of college.

yes excluding the dog fighting.

You guys have very low expectations

Actually it was more to do with the fact that we NEVER covered the Tight End....which just happened to be the only receiver that Vick could hit in the passing game.

Well it's kind of hard to cover anybody for more than 3-4 seconds, which is where that mobile QB comes in. Once he extends the play past 3-4 seconds and breaks the pocket, it becomes back yard football anyway. Vick did that to us many times, and Cam can do the same thing, plus he's a better passer.

54% completions, 57% wins, 1.4 TD/Int and misses 3 games a year due to injury.

You would be happy with those for Cam as a career as a number 1 pick?

We already established that Cam is a better passer and at 6'6" 250lbs, I'm pretty confident that his body will hold up a little better than Vick's.

Vick did way more in Atlanta than Moore ever did here. He never was a real Championship contender there, but they never had a championship team around him. This is from a guy who was very critical of Vick, and thought he was hyped way too much.

Notice that I didn't say he sucked, just that he was hyped like he was a top 5 when he was around top 12.

      The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a fan.  Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls. He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game wirh some some pride and don't bend the knee.

      No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)

      That period started rough but the canes stayed with it.  They will when this game 3-1 or 4-2 the way it’s going.
