Bobcats acquire Mo Pete and D.J. White

The Charlotte Bobcats have traded big man Nazr Mohammed to Oklahoma City for D.J. White and Mo Peterson.

Yeah loved DJ White at Indiana. Not sure if he has done much since though, or maybe just hasn't had too much of an opportunity.

Yeah DJ was a stud at Indiana, have not heard much about him since. I like Nazr, but getting his contract off the books for something in return is nice.

Nazr was expiring and the Mo Pete and White contracts are equal and also expiring. I think this just might be a complement to the Wallace deal where we make another trade so that Peterson and DJ White fill in a bit for what we lose in Wallace and Przybilla does it for Muhammad. More of a lateral move to shore up the rotation really. And there's always the hope the White flashes something with increased playing time.
