Night Life in Charlotte

Montford is usually alright if you go to the right places. Like Duckworth's has $5 Patron shots everyday Im pretty sure and really good draft nights. Plus they have about 100 beers on draft including seasonals and crazy ones. Just had the Sweetwater Dank Tank Border Hopper there a couple weeks ago.

There is also Moosehead on Montford, which isn't as preppy as the other bars and has good wings, just gotta watch out for the creepy kitchen manager.

Then there is 7th street where Jacks is. There is also Philosopher's Stone which you would probably like bleys but I was there last Friday and they were absolutely slammed. It was also really nice outside last week too.

Across from there is this new bar Kennedy's which is like an Irish kind of thing which took place of Ed's 2nd location which I guess didn't do too well. Havent been to Kennedys but I assume its just the same as Eds.

Then there is downtown which I normally don't do just bc of the hassle and the type of people down there. You can do Epicentre or you can go to Connely's/Madison's which is usually not too busy.

There is Dandelion Market which I have only been to twice and its usually packed to the brim.

Ri Ras is usually pretty fun. I always go upstairs though, Im never downstairs.

Stay away from Dixie's downtown.

yeah. i hate stealer's bars.

Jeff's Bucket Shop smelled like absolute ( I believe the drunken word I came up with at that time was) 'Oyster Piss'. Went there recently for a friends Birthday, was bummed out cuz we couldn't handle the smell that apparently the regulars are accustomed to. I would have rocked the stage that night too, but the karaoke was probably best Ive seen.

Montford drive, Dilworth or NoDa areas are good let loose or bust it open places.

Yea - that place smelled so much better before the smoking ban.

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
