Looks like Cincy May Be A Trade Partner Now

Palmer was horrible when we played him last year but again, that was only one game. Here's the thing: if we trade for Palmer, it will most likely be for Steve Smith & probably a 3rd round pick. I base this on the QB/draft pick trade the Bears & Broncos did 2 years ago with Orton, Cutler & a few picks. The Broncos traded Cutler to the Bears for Orton & a few draft picks. Is he worth Smith & a few picks? No. For just Smith? Perhaps

he had several awful performances and was wildly inconsistent last year. cincy fans didn't know if they were getting good palmer or bad palmer week to week

I'd switch ones and take their second for Palmer.

I would too. Don't know if Cincinnati would do it, though.

I do, however, suspect that their demands might not be as extreme as people think, especially not if the number one overall pick is part of the deal.
