Lunesta

Anyone ever tried this crap? Told my doc I was having trouble sleeping and he prescribed this stuff for me. Took it last night for the first time and it did help me sleep all the way through the night but when I woke up this morning I had this awful metallic taste in my mouth. I don't know how to describe it. I could taste it even when I breathed through my nose. Still taste it right now. It's kind of like what it tastes like when you drink a soda after brushing your teeth.

Tell me this poo is temporary and it doesn't happen every time I have to take it.

Never tried Lunesta. Had some Ambein that didn't do poo for me.

I take this now and sleep like a baby.

Yeah I know its Bill Romonowski's company and I hate him too but this poo works.

Interesting.....how do you feel the next day? I stay in a fog with most sleep aides the next day. I could take one Tylenol pm and it will mess up most the next day for me. Ambien is the one thing that works because it is out of my system come morning.

I am actually a big fan of Romonowski and that guy definitely knows his supplements.

As long as I give it a good 7-7.5 hours of sleep Im pretty clear the next day. Its not something you want to take at 12:30 and then try to go to work at 7am.

That is my problem...I get up around 5:30a and I try not to take anything before going to bed but if I can't get to sleep by midnight or so that is when I take something.

I have treid Lunesta when I would fly overseas. Never had any side effects like you are describing but I did notice my hands and feet would sometimes feel swollen and tingly.

Tylenol PM works just fine when washed down with 3 of thse little airplane bottles of scotch.

I'm lucky that i've never had to take anything to sleep I guess, but I do follow a few simple habits to be that way.

1. keep it cool in your room. not so cool you shiver, but cool enough that you want to cover up.

2. don't do stuff in bed. no reading. no tv. just go lay down to sleep.

3. low lights. a no brainer.

4. don't excercise or do anything to raise your heart rate at least one hour before you want to sleep.

5. don't drink anything an hour before bed. that gives you time to piss it all out before lying down, and then no chance of waking up having to go.

I do these things M-F, and am always asleep within 10 minutes of head hitting the pillow. probably less.

    • I'll say 6. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition and will do more to help the defense than anyone. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole there. For all the hype surrounding Sanders and Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
    • 2010 was worse. Not much worse but worse.
    • Lol since 2017 the Panthers are 47-85,    Also since 2017 the Giants are 40-91-1   Lol
