This. Fanboys are fags. I have a gaming PC/PS3/Wii and love all 3. Don't have an xbox as that controller bugs me to death.

My wife and I have a wii as well but outside of Super Smash and New Super Mario Bros nothing on it really interests me....

Mainly because I hate seeing the despair that RROD and ps3 network spreads.

Why does it bother you so much if you're secure in your decisions?

Is that despair similar to getting a virus or needing to update computer hardware to play a new game?

I don't get viruses because I don't go around looking for beastiality.

What about when a mandatory update to dashboard locks down the whole system and nobody can do poo online for 6 hours. Or you get all your account hacked and stolen and you can't even log on for a month and a half? Or your hardware fails and you have to ship off that useless piece of plastic and sit with your thumb up your ass for 6 weeks with no games or netflix.

People that require hardware updates to play new games should probably go back to the console because pc gaming is going to eat them alive if they don't have proper guidance or know how to seek it out.

I simply cannot remember anyone ever starting a thread about how Steam failed them or their pc failed them with the mass of complaints that follow compared to console.

And if pc hardware fails, at least you can upgrade to better components, and do the upgrade yourself as well.

Its the 21st century. Everyone should know how to swap out a fuging video card or some ram. Its not any harder than swapping out a game in a dvd format.

lol games on hard media is so 1999

I wish. Toad would have been much more exhilarating though.

Excellent job on reinforcing your side of the issue btw.

I just wish I could have worked in a bestiality comment to really drive home my point. I think that would have swayed the masses. Millions of computer owners would unite to construct a pyre of gaming PC's to burn all the computer manufacturer's employees upon, and then look to me for my sage like guidance on how they should game.

    • If we lose tomorrow we’d have to sweep the Bucs in order to get into the playoffs. With a loss tomorrow the Bucs would then hold the tie breaker if we finished tied If we can’t split with NO then we sure as hell not sweeping Tampa It’s win or go home tomorrow in my eyes  Biggest game since 2017 playoff game imo
    • Grok AI: No, there are no credible reports that the Carolina Hurricanes offered Jake Guentzel the same contract terms as Tampa Bay (7 years, $63 million total, $9 million AAV) before he signed with the Lightning. Reliable sources, including The Athletic, consistently reported that Carolina’s offer during negotiations was an eight-year deal worth $64 million ($8 million AAV). Guentzel did not accept it promptly, leading the Hurricanes to trade his negotiating rights to Tampa Bay on June 30, 2024, for a 2025 third-round pick. He then quickly signed the 7x$9M deal with the Lightning on July 1, 2024. Guentzel himself later reflected (in 2025 interviews) that staying in Carolina was his initial preference, but negotiations stalled and “didn’t work out,” with Tampa’s opportunity becoming a “no-brainer.” No reports from outlets like ESPN, NHL.com, or insiders (e.g., Elliotte Friedman, Pierre LeBrun, Frank Seravalli) indicate Carolina ever matched or offered the Lightning’s exact terms—total money, AAV, or length. The extra year was Carolina’s key advantage, but they reportedly stuck closer to $8M AAV and moved on when Guentzel explored options.
