ESPN's Clayton identifies three out of the fours teams

I know there's a thread speculating about the four teams, but I heard John Clayton say on ESPN radio this morning that the teams are:

Dallas

Washington

Philadelphia

Mystery AFC team

He also gave reasons today on why those teams won't go for Peppers.

All I heard him say is that the Cowboys already have DeMarcus Ware. He didn't even mention the fact that they don't have a first.

I didn't hear him give any reasons why Washington or Philly would go for him. He only said that the Panthers wouldn't want to send him to either of those teams.

Also, he said that he thinks Peppers will remain in Carolina for at least this season, and that we would try to let time heal the wounds and sign him to a long term deal sometime this summer.

I actually turned in late from NFLN and caught the tail end of it. It was during Mike and Mike.

But first off the obvious is that the Cowboys don't have a first rounder, and that they are trying to make Ware the highest paid defensive player.

Then the summary was that how those three teams were not likely, I have been trying to see if they would replay it.

Those may be the three teams Peppers wants to go to, he was just giving reasons why those teams were not likely.(or that so far they haven't showed interest)(whether his statements are true or not is up in the air, but he was saying it)

Maybe it's the drugs I'm on(had surgery yesterday) but he sure was sounding like those teams were not likely.

Maybe I misunderstood that with him having reasons, because I didn't see all of it.

Yeah, he was most definitely calling those trade possibilities unlikely, he just didn't give any specific reasons except for the dallas stuff

      Prediction? We likely lose.  Maybe look okay doing it.  It could be different with some turnovers coming to us.   In general I don’t have the same faith in what we will get from Andy that I had in the week three games of the two previous years.   I was very confident as to what we would see last year vs the Raiders and was validated.  The patchwork OL worries me, in pass pro, with him being old and creaky and not exactly being ‘cat like’ in his escapability. And somewhat concerned about his arm strength. I mean in general, I think he could still be ‘as good once as he ever was’ which is a huge upgrade from Bryce.   But it is still another year of aging and at some point it’s over… people say it is for him, I haven’t seen enough of him this season to say otherwise.  Add the fact that they are generally a more seasoned and tested team than we are, players to staff. I am skeptical. But that is why they play the games, we don’t know for sure.
