http://www.heraldonline.com/2011/05/04/3040741/report-jealous-girlfriend-stabs.html#storylink=omni_popular

ROCK HILL --

A man claims his girlfriend stabbed him Tuesday afternoon after she thought he was talking to another woman on the phone.

An officer with the Rock Hill Police Department was dispatched to Piedmont Medical Center about 2:30 p.m. in reference to a stabbing, according to a Rock Hill police report. The 34-year-old Rock Hill man did not want to press charges or give any information about his 48-year-old girlfriend.

The man stated he was at the Cobb House on East Main Street talking on the phone, the report states. His girlfriend had a small steak knife in her hand and, thinking he was talking to another girl, stabbed him in the upper left arm.

Officials with Piedmont Medical Center told the man he would need two or three stitches

Report: Goats stolen from York man

http://www.heraldonline.com/2011/05/04/3041201/report-goats-stolen-from-york.html

YORK --

Five goats were stolen from a York pasture sometime Tuesday afternoon.

A 53-year-old York man reported that sometime between noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday someone took the five goats from his pasture on Garvin Road, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report. It appears the suspect tied the goats' hooves and took them away in a car.

A 67-year-old Rock Hill man was considered a suspect because he "knew the family's schedule" and once dated the York Man's neighbor, a 23-year-old woman, according to the report. However, no evidence of goats being in the man's car was found.

The Rock Hill man was given notice not to be on the 40-acre Garvin Road property anymore, according to the report. He also requested a trespass warning for the woman, and she in turn requested a trespass warning for him.

YORK COUNTY --

A Rock Hill man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a woman says he fired a gun into the ground in front of her home.

Richard Hayner, 23, of Amanda Lane is accused of shooting while under the influence and trespassing, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.

A woman told deputies that Hayner's car pulled off the road in front of her McConnells address, where he fired a gun multiple times at the ground, according to the report. A passenger also exited the car and began to urinate on the side of the road. The car then went toward McConnells Highway.

A deputy located the vehicle later down the road, and Hayner matched the description of the suspect, the report states.

Hayner was "grossly intoxicated" and admitted to shooting two handguns — a .38 and .45 caliber — while in front of the woman's address. He also said he had had three beers.

Hayner was transported to Moss Justice Center and charged.

Form of, local newspaper!

Here's one that just happened somewhere about 10 miles from me.

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/may/04/two-killed-libby-lake-park-shooting/

OCEANSIDE — Police are investigating the slayings of a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy who were found shot to death in an Oceanside Park Tuesday night.

The victims have not been named.

Officers were called to Libby Lake Park on Calle Montecito Street north of North River Road at 10:13 p.m. after callers reported hearing four to six possible gunshots, police Capt. Leonard Mata said.

The bodies were discovered about 15 minutes later about 10 feet from a chain-link fence up an embankment at the east side of the park, Mata said. The area backs up to a construction zone that sits directly behind Libby Elementary School.

Detectives with dogs scoured the park and the construction area looking for evidence Tuesday night and into Wednesday before reopening the park to the public in the afternoon. Later in the day several officers returned with metal detectors searching for additional evidence.

There was no suspect information and no known motive, Mata said.

The boy lived in the Mesa Margarita neighborhood in northeast Oceanside where the shooting occurred, Mata said. The girl lived elsewhere in Oceanside.

Mesa Margarita is one of the region’s most notorious neighborhoods. Gang violence has plagued the area for years, although Mata said it is not yet known if gangs played a part in Tuesday night’s shootings.

On Dec. 4, 18-year old Edgar Luna was shot to death during an apparent drive-by shooting a block west of Libby Lake Park. That slaying remains unsolved.

In 2006, Oceanside police Officer Dan Bessant was fatally shot during a traffic stop less than a mile from the park.

Wednesday afternoon, a number of obviously upset young men and one girl gathered in the park near some picnic tables. They refused to comment.

“We don’t have any evidence yet that it was gang related,” Mata said. “But we haven’t ruled that out. ... We do have some gang issues in that area.”

    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
    • THANKS my guy! Keeping up with this threads theme, if I view a thread and there's only 20 posts and some time passes. If I see there's one new post and read the name; @Dave Gettleman's Shortsis among the chosen few that I will reopen that thread just to see what you posted.    Thanks again, plus not just a scout, thats scotty mccloughans son?!?!? If not for the deep claws of booze, scotty is among the best talent finders this league has recently had. Last I heard he ran a consulting business. Caden could be one of those who's on a early path to being a GM in the future. I was a big fan of his dad, dam shame about booze demon ruining his career.
