Favre Is Throwing Again...

I don't think he fits in anywhere. He's simply done. Minnesota had a good cast for him and he just didn't get it done this year. The best place for him from that list is San Fran but no way Harbough starts his tenure off with Favre.

His body is just giving out on him and he's no longer an NFL QB.

I disagree that he had a good cast last year. If Sidney Rice hadn't have beeitched out and gotten surgery during training camp for a pre-existing injury then maybe.

I do completely agree that his body gave up on him last year. It was really sad to watch tbh.

So you ignore the post where you get proven wrong and look silly, then comment on a post of mine where you are trying to disagree but actually agree with the point I make which is the basis for my argument?

Congrats?

Some of you people are literally ruining this message board with your little pissing contests. I come on here to maybe read some valid information regarding the panthers, and I get maybe 3-5 posts before one of you swag mofuggers start talking crap and then the whole post just plummets from there.

Seriously, what else do you people have to do in your lives other than whine and cry on a message board. Give it a rest.

Back to topic at hand, I don't care if Favre comes to carolina. What could it hurt. Yeah he is old and beat up from his career, but he can still throw a ball, knows the game, and could be an excellent mentor to Cam.

What could it hurt? Have you not watched football or the news regarding Favre lately?

He doesn't "know the game" like you want a mentor to know it. Favre got by on his ability to sling the ball around the yard and have a short memory, not dissect a defense and find the open man. Often times his man was covered but his superior arm strength made the play.

As for being an excellent mentor to Cam, that's just silly. He's literally in the bottom 3 for mentor choices for Cam.

It's kind of sad to see how delusional you are. Where did you prove me wrong!?

I disagreed that he had a good supporting cast last year. That's a fact.

I then agreed with you that his body has taken a beating. Another fact

The only one trying to create any argument here is you, which is by no means surprising. This started when you said he's a sorry ass QB. He is not and never has been a sorry ass QB as you put it. The fact that you could even imply that about him just goes to show that you have a very limited Football IQ.

You can argue with the best of them, but it's a rarity that you are ever right. This is a pretty cut and dry case where you have failed to support your statement that he's a sorry ass QB! You're good at changing the subject because you don't have a firm grasp on the game or it's players!

Next time stay on topic, and support your statement with some stats or anything that would support your "sorry ass QB" statement! I never advocated for him to play next year whatsoever. Like I said before, you're pretty much a joke to me.

You will undoubtedly respond by calling me a newbe or how none of my posts make any sense, but here's what I know about you in my short time here:

You dont seem to know much about the game of football

All you do is stir the pot (which sometimes is cool) but not as much as you do

You avoid supporting any of your asinine claims with stats or facts

When you're called on your Bullshyit comments you change the subject like a child, call names, and are completely disrespectful.

It seems that this blog is your life instead of a hobby

Even when somebody does agree with you, you can't take a compliment

I don't get on here to argue with people like you do, but to each their own. I get on here to talk with fellow fans about the game of football and to build a camaraderie with Panthers fans. We will all undoubtedly disagree at various times... One thing remains in the end though, we all want Carolina to win!

Stop attacking people just because they disagree with you. It's a little old.

Again for you to say that Favre is a pooty ass QB shows that you are not a fan of the game. Hate him or live him you have to respect him for what he does, and what he's done on the field. He'll be a first ballot hall of famer. You must be right though... Shiity ass QB's get elected to the HOF all the time!

C'mon dude. You only embarass yourself when you say things like that.you should have swallowed your pride and admitted you were wring right then. Now you just look silly... But what else is new!?

blah blah blah I lack the ability to distinguish between what Favre did in his past and the QB he is currently and what he is projected to be in the future blah blah blah His 11 TDs and 19Ints, 5 win 8 loss record (the 5 wins coming against teams with a combined 27-53 record), his body breaking down and not being able to practice, all mean he'll be great next year blah blah blah

I completely agree.

Once again... CREATING A FAKE QUOTE by me doesn't make you right!

I never once advocated that he should play next year!!

Find a REAL quote by me saying that then we'll talk!

EPIC FAIL once again!

So you don't think he can start anywhere in the league next year? Wouldn't that make him a sorry ass QB next year?

You are so simple minded.

You jumped in to a conversation I was having with someone else about whether Favre could start next year then bring up his past like that is relevant. Get on board with the context of the conversation or stop posting.

I thought I was a little harsh on you your first week here but apparently I wasn't harsh enough.

I am not so much mad as I am disappointed that I have to see the childish posts when I am looking for general Carolina Panthers discussions.

Maybe it is the lockout? The lack of things to talk about that generates into useless babbling?

I dunno.

I think that Favre actually is one of the best people to mentor Cam, on certain subjects. Favre shouldn't be "the guy" that mentors Cam, but he certainly has things to offer. Cam will need more than just a Bret Favre.

Favre has played Hundreds of games. Hundreds. He has won a superbowl. He has set NFL records. He has played through injuries, and has led his team to many, many victories. He is a hall of famer. Favre has experience, a lot of it, and to say that he would be a bad mentor to Cam? Come on now. Just because you don't like a guy you just stick with your perception that he is a bad mentor, coach, whatever.

If Favre wanted to be a mentor and help Cam out, I would welcome it. Based on Favre's success alone, it would be a no brainer.

As for Favre being able to start next year? Of course he could. Should he? Heeeell no. He is beat up, he has taken a lot of punishment. For health reasons, I would tell him not to start anywhere. Back up QB? Sure. He shouldn't have the weight of starter on his shoulders, but if he had to, he could.

Yes he could start next year... Doesn't mean that he should. And I jumped into a blog site where everyone posts their opinion. I disagree with you that he's a pooty QB. That's about the context of what was said regarding that. You decided to attack me personally and not my view. That's when I defended myself by attacking your views.

You can be as harsh as u want to me or anybody else for that matter. I could care less. When I see your posts or anyone else's post that come through their ass to the keyboard I will call them on it as well. This is a dead issue. Go ahead and get in your last words so that you can feel like u win. I won't dignify it with a response. Deuces!

Let me ask you this...what makes you think that Favre can currently be a good QB in the NFL?

Based on recent history, his body is done and his "magic" has worn off.

I don't think he'll turn it around at such an old age with a crumbling body for support.

If you'd like to enlighten me on why he'd be a good QB now, and not what he did in the past, I'd love to hear it.
