Sunflower Seeds

Haven't eaten an unshelled sunflower seed since I found a dried worm in one about 20 years ago.

Now I want a full inspection of any unshelled seed I eat and sunflower seeds aren't worth the time.

Yeah and sometimes there are bad seeds (shelled variety). When I worked construction, it was nothing to eat a whole bag over the course of a day. I even had one o the pockets in my tool pouch dedicated to holding my "spits."

I would pour out the seeds into my hand looking for the bad ones before I popped them in my mouth.
