Try for an appointment wherever you go. Small town is best bet. Try Mt. Holly. You'll still wait in line but not so bad as charlotte.

This here is the big city boy. :) I took my son to get his permit here, at 730, and the line was out the door. Punt. Make appt. Drive to mt. Holly. In and out in 30 min.

Should I go when they open at 8, or make an appointment for like 10?? Id like to go tomorrow to get it over with.

Make an appointment but if not possible avoid the mornings and lunch time. I went to the one on N. Tryon about around 2pm and was in and out in 20 mins. and that one is usually a nightmare. Most people go before work, lunchtime, or leave work a bit early. Regradless, it is a crapshoot without an appt.

    • Yeah, the first thing I thought about is why argue about "conduct detrimental to the team?" Just don't do anything stupid and you should be OK. Top and even mid tier professional athletes get a lot more leeway than regular Joes out here bustin' the pavement, and we know that if we end up on the news for negativity that we've done our there in society, our ass is gonna get canned.
    • I mean 1-6 the WR group is pretty good.  All 6 won’t see the field at the same time.  I’d say 3 WR sets or less a majority of the time if our commitment to the run game is to be believed. With that said, the o line is our strength.  Behind that we have a RB room with 2 1000 yard rushers.  Personally I think both groups are “better” at this time.  And if we’re only going 2-3 players deep the Corners have an argument for being a better unit than the WRs as we currently sit. tl;dr  Another lazy article by the world wide leader in sports…
    • Ah, I see. You're saying he's just a short game guy... but wouldn't the team still have needed a deep threat to keep those safeties from creeping down like they were when Reich/Brown had him dinking and dunking? Who from this list is preventing that from happening last season? David Moore? Then what about this season? Darius Slayton? I'm not saying that weren't better moves to have been made, but I don't think that AT is the half-in, half-out mindset as suggested. He came in under Reich, was a dependable veteran for a rookie HC that has a background with WRs, and is now set to make $2M less than the aforementioned Darius Slayton. What I am saying I guess is that when stepping back and looking at all of the available data points, the Adam Thielen signing was one of the few moves that this team has made that has worked out. Going to be fun seeing if Jimmy Horn Jr can contribute right away as that quick-twitch slot guy the team has been looking for. I don't see Thielen playing the entire season, so the sooner Jimmy picks things up the better.
