Kids and their messy rooms

I can't get my daughter to understand the concept of "pick up what you take out". Next thing you know, the task is insurmountable for a child. Hell, I don't even want to do it.

But when my wife bitches about it, I say it's her fault for buying her so much random sh*t to begin with, that if she doesn't like it, she should be the one to clean it up.

I say this to myself, of course.

Find another way to say it .. and it's true , she can be as mad as she wants about it. It's the truth, she can't always be right.

I never cleaned my room when I was a teenager. I had a clean pile and a dirty pile of clothes.

The only thing I really bitch about is food, plates, cups, etc being left in their rooms.

But God forbid I take a drink with me when I get in my son's truck. WTF? He tried to make me throw my full can of coke away today before letting me in. Then asked me for gas money.

He won't think twice about putting you in a home one day, will he?

I don't want to ride in the damn truck, anyway. I got the shitty end of this deal. My son has a newer ride than I do. My husband and son made a "deal" with each other earlier this week.

Oh, and the last time he drove my car (Sat), I had to get two gatorade bottles out of it.

I didn't know kids could have newer rides than their parents? That was unheard of.

"You will drive a clunker and like it!"

Well, he did have a 97 jeep grand cherokee. The transmission was going out in it, so he sold it.

Need to add, my husband sold it. It's now a farm truck thing. They're supposedly "sharing" the truck since my hubby has a demo for work.
