I think losing his point guard halfway thru the season had a lot to do with Singlers game.

What the hell are you talking about? Irving had zero to do with Singler shooting horrendous percentages or his awful athletic ability.

Singler was an ok college player but I doubt he will even play pro ball in europe, that's how little I think of his game.

Congo forward Bismack Biyombo was a late invitee Thursday to the NBA draft's green room, an indication he could land in the lottery, but according to league sources, Biyombo doesn't have a letter of clearance from FIBA, the international basketball governing body, and is subject to a buyout. Biyombo can't sign an NBA contract until the matter is cleared up. Sources said Biyombo's name was on a list sent out by the NBA Wednesday detailing players who were subject to a buyout. Teams have investigated and concluded that Biyombo would owe roughly $1.5 million, possibly equal to his NBA rookie contract, to get out of his deal with Spanish team Fuenlabrada. Sources said the buyout figure could be negotiated, but the matter also could end up in court.

Which lineup would you rather have?

A

Kemba

Henderson

Leonard

Thomas

K.Brown

B

Augustin

Henderson

Leonard

Thomas

Biyombo

So tough. I think I have to go B but I will definitely not be complaining if we get A.

*B*

I personally like A better just because it's a better mixture of offense and defense. Kwame is better served off the bench but I know he will be improved from last year.

I think we should select Kemba at 7 or 9. But I wouldn't be unhappy with lineup B, just hope Biyombo's situation is cleared up.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
