The longest you've gone without your vice

How many weeks have you gone without your booze, cigs, pot, etc?

Does it change your whole attitude and personality?

Me. I quit cigs when we found out about my daughter. It's been roughly 10 months since I did, and I'm not going back.

I've gone very long periods without smoking pot. The first week seems like a breeze, the second through the fourth are rough, and then I seem back to normal. I've had several periods of weeks, months and even years without it. The latest being about 6 months.

Booze....I don't go without. I have a beer everyday.

hmm. don't drink during the week usually, so I go 4-5 days without a drink.

Haven't smoked weed in over a year.

I quit cigarettes 15 years ago, never looked back.

Guess I live clean. I like to bang though, so there's that...

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired (or out) after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
