The only difference I see between the men's and women's is the raw speed. The technical skills of the women are just as strong.

If you watched the US beat Columbia in this World Cup that probably looked much more "pure and clean" if I'm understanding your comment correctly. Crisp passes. Six, seven, eight passes to advance the ball. Strong possession. Lots of space and beautiful runs. All that because the Columbian women are garbage. When the U.S. women play opponents with equal skill like Sweden, Germany, or Brazil, it doesn't look like the "pure and clean" women's soccer that you remember from back in the early to mid 1990s...because there was no equivalent talent to that group of U.S. women.
