Don't really think it matters if hes in the hospital or dead for this last episode...its just a side story at the moment compared to what walt has going on. Sure it could come back to bite them with the irs and everything but that would be better played out in next season or something. Who cares about ted.

And yes I feel walt is going to do something very bad, if he hasn't already. He prob poisoned the kid to get at jesse and gus. Vince Gilligan the creator of the show said viewers should hate or at the very least no longer sympathize with walt by the end of season 4. Poisoning an innocent kid sure could make him hate able, am I'm sure he will do something else in the finale. I think a main character will die.

If he was, don't you think they would have had a scene with him in the hospital since then? Talking to Skyler or something?

poo hit the fan pretty quick and there really hasn't been time. i don't think skyler even knows yet.

and as far as whether ted is dead or alive, that makes a big impact on next season at least

if he's alive, does he rat skyler out?

if he's dead, is there an investigation?

i'm not sure when walt had the chance to get that ricin from jessie.

Yeah they never told her what happened. But I'm sure if he lived, he would have called her or something to ask her why she did what she did. There is a slight chance that he could be in a coma. But I believe he's dead and it won't be brought back up until next season.

But the whole kid poisoning has me baffled. It could have happened several different ways.

Well, everything's wrapped up in a neat little package then. I'm starting to get the feeling that they wrote it this way because they were unsure if they would get a 5th season, as crazy as that sounds. Kind of like the ending to season 5 of Dexter. Gus' death was pretty cartoonish but I kind of liked it.

So now what? Basically a totally clean slate...Walt's no longer in fear of his life, they've got plenty of money left over, Hank has no reason to pursue anything in relation to Gus or (what's left of) the laundromat, Ted is (probably) dead and the government is paid in full, Jesse is free except maybe he won't be hanging with that girl and her kid anymore, and the Whites own a carwash. Where in the world do they take next season?

First thing I thought after I saw it. But now I think Walt's ego is going to fug something up. He never seems content, I think somehow someway hes going to get himself into more poo that ultimately ends up in him failing miserably to end the series
