Bottomline JR and all the other owners can open the doors first thing Saturday morning. But at the end of the day those locker rooms will be empty plain and simple. Players will not walk into the stadium until they look over the CBA and 50%+1 players agreed on it. The only way we will see players enter the stadium saturday is if they vote on friday and have players to their cards with them to sign at the stadium so the union can once again be. But to me it sounds like the players are no where near ready to sign right now. It might be a fews day more or a few more weeks. Players have the deciding votes. We better hope for something to happen tomorrow or the locker rooms will be empty some saturday morning. LOL:grouphug:

While I am reluctant to even attempt to ad something that could be considered a rational topic of discussion in this trainwreck thread that is on the fast track to being locked (probably only still open because all mods are asleep), but I found it interesting that Arthur Rooney made a point to say it's unusual to see so many players at the negotiating table. I wonder if that's got anything to do with the whole sketchy events that happened today?

It really saddens me that these two entities are supposed to be partners, and there is zero trust between them right now. The NFLPA sent out an email to players saying it's illegal under labor law to be coerced into forming a union, and that any agreements signed under that coerced union would be null and void. I hope they don't keep that in their back pocket and decide they don't like this CBA in 3 years and try to void it through the courts.

I'm sorry, but if the players have been serious about getting a deal done then they knew they would have to re certify.

They knew the NFL wasn't going to let them back in the doors with out being the NFLPA again. If they didn't realize that, then I don't know what to say to them except for smarten up.

The only thing that the De-certification was in the long run was a negotiating tactic, nothing more.

    • I'd rather get a vet to fill XL's spot for a chain mover and give Jimmy Horn more reps since he's basically our Ted Ginn speed guy. T-Mac and Coker are locked in as the top 2. They honestly fuged up giving XL the start over Moore in the playoff game
    • I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.
    • I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
