What's the word on Brandon Lafell heading into 11-12?

What kinda miffs me is that everyone lumps the two together. If one of them has a bad year, I'm sure it will affect the other.

They have two different styles and run completely different. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses.

BTW...I'm not talking about the guys on this forum. From the comments I think that everyone would agree with this statement. I'm talking about guys at work, who don't bleed Panther blue.

I don't know about blazing speed... but I def like both of these guys more than anybody else we've been grooming. Also, I'm excited to see what Edwards does this year... I know probably nothing, but it's usually the third year with receivers. I hope to see Edwards tear it up in returning this year, and then develope into a good receiver next year. good things are being said about him for once, and I'm excited

I think so too. AE is really impressing me. Maybe he's developing more SWAG. Hey, has he been on the huddle gathering SWAG? I guess that's where all of mine went yesterday.

I think he has been studying his ass off and he looked pretty good yesterday at TC. Very aggressive and quick, making jumps to catch the balls in the air from Cam. As long as he can learn to catch and hold onto the ball, I think he will be better this year. He is an athlete and a competitor, he just has to get comfortable as a receiver.

Gettis ran a 4.43 at the Combine, IIRC. His low number there was 4.36 unofficially. 4.39 at his pro day. He was a victim of the small school bias and some pretty average numbers at Baylor. I would say he is plenty fast.
