I assume that is preseason game 2.

Sounds like Cam. Then Rivera plays whoever overall looked the best as the starter in preseason game 3....and if the starter of that game doesn't implode they go week 1.

I think Jimmy will get game 1 and 2. Cam will then take the reigns in game 3, when the 1's get the most game time, and Jimmy will be a permanent fixture on the oak for the rest of Rivera's tenure as a coach baring injury or him being traded.

so then you are assuming at some point Jimmy start to outplay Cam and wins the job....

b/c all signs indicate Rivera has this as a legit competition between Cam and Clausen.....and I think most assume the tiebreaker goes to Cam.

actually, overall in practice Cam has been the QB making the throws Chud requires in his offense. Clausen did it in one practice.

as far as the preseason game 1 went.....at best it was a tie. Both made comparable throws overall but Clausen probably the edge in the department basically b/c he was asked to throw less.....less to nitpick.....Cam was clearly better in the pocket and reacting to heat which is pretty big.

regardless in camp and practice, Cam looks to have an easier time looking downfield, staying in the pocket, reacting to pressure, and making downfield throws. Clausen is more accurate.......Clausen's negatives balance out so that the little bit better he is in the accuracy department really doesn't mean much if anything.
