Going to a game.

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about going to the Panthers/Titans game Nov. 13, with my dad. I live in Dallas TX so I don't ever get to see my Panthers play. I want some of the best seats available, so I was wondering what section would be the best to sit if you wanted to be close to the game and still have a good view, etc?

Thanks

The South Gate is the home side AND the side in the shade.

539-544, below row 10 are excellent sections and seats for a great value and are $61 a piece face value. Loud crowd mixture of kids and families to drunks and teens and just normal adults.

130-133 are the best of the lower levels seats and the best seats in the stadium in my opinion, I am usually here. They are a little more quiet but you get more drunks and adults and much less children. They are right behind the Panthers Bench, you are right up close the action. Further down near section 129 is the Panther's tunnel. They run $110 a piece at face.

342-345 are Premium seating. You get extra wide seats, the ability to go inside and easy access to liquor and food. The last several rows are shaded and of course the game is at perfect eyesight level. The seats are around $250+ a piece face. Very quiet section, pretty much adults only.

People will say wine and cheese but pick your crowd. Sometimes I like to sit in the club and not be bothered by screaming fans. Especially when I am by myself the extra room is great. Sometimes I feel like screaming and will sit in the LL. Sometimes I know we might get our ass whipped real hard so I'll go for the uppers. On a rainy day, End Zone or high row Clubs. They are covered.

It just depends.

here is the best tip I can give you. The Sun rises behind the South West side of the South Entrance of the stadium. This is VERY important. The above sections I mentioned will be shady of only sunny for the first quarter. If you go outside those sections, in the direction like these examples: sections 106-127, 509-535 you will be right in the sun, and on hotter days it sucks, your $8 beer gets warm in a matter of minutes.

To find a real deal on some tickets, write down these sections and try to find some tickets around the stadium shortly after kick off. If none of these sections come up, a CLUB section ticket will always be pretty nice.

Please note these prices also differ outside the specified sections. There are club seats for $150, and uppers for as low as $40, but they are not midfield and all sections I mentioned are midfield, Panther side, and most importantly in the shade for the majority of the game.

Hope I have helped.

    • I hope he finds his lane in year 2.  Now that we signed Walker, I'm really intrigued how Dan feels about the DL. Is there a piece there in R1 that presents value/BPA and fills a void for one of the spots w/ DB and Wharton.  I'll give Wharton another year to show us why he was signed here. With A'Shawn gone, I don't think BBIII is it.  Our edges are set and our LBs are balanced. Horn/Mike Jack and Moehrig will hold the secondary together. DB is, well...DB.  However, I think this is an area that is the biggest question mark right now. I see 1 of 3 spots that are locked and loaded for us. If we move to a 4 down front, I assume Phillips would slide down to be the additional linemen, but we still have questions about the other two spots in either scheme.  I'd feel better with a tradeback, but I do wonder how McDonald would do here. Maybe Woods....but McDonald really does peek my interest.  Or, can Jackson take that next step. The coaching staff speaks highly of him for what little he played. Here's hoping he stays healthy and comes into TC with something to prove. There's a spot to be taken, here's hoping he takes it.
    • Not many people talking about DT, but we have a need.  (DE)  Now this guy is a NT like Brown III
    • But is it about letting Bryce develop or about winning games? Bryce has not been good enough to be an uncontested starter. He just hasn't. How many times has last drive Bryce shown up for 4 entire quarters? Once in 3 seasons? You aren't going to win 9 or 10 one score games every season year in and year out. You may want Bryce in the last 2 minutes. I want that Bryce the full 60.  No one is saying you have to give up on him, but bringing in another QB that can do anything is not hindering Bryce. It helps the team and that's where the focus needs to be. If drafting Sadiq to plague the middle of the field would help out offense, but Bryce struggles to get pass into the middle of the field, is Sadiq a bad pick? Or could he be a good pick with a better option at QB? We can't be afraid to improve. QB, TE, OL, LB, DL, CB, S. It doesn't matter. The goal is SBs, not 5 to 8 years seeing waiting to see if Bryce can develop while the rest of the league keeps passing us by.  Sadiq is a nice option, but I think we have to address tackle if one we like is there because we are painfully thin after this year, a LB to general the field, and a true ball hawking safety that can set the tone in the secondary. Those 3 positions are bigger game changers than a TE that will likely struggle to make a round 1 impact in this offense.
