QB: Brees, Cassell, Newton

RB: Rice, Greene, Mathews, McGahee

WR: Marshall, Ochocinco, Smitty, Amendola, Little

TE: Lewis, Gresham

D: Jets

K: Kaeding

Cam in the last round, Smitty in the 10th. I figured I'd grab an extra QB due to nobody being left, and hoping for injuries for others.

Bored as fug on a Sunday, so bring your worst, and we can argue.

QB-> B+ If Brees plays 16 games (he usually does), you're fine, but if not, you could be fugged. All depends.

RB--> B+ . Starters look good Not completely sure about Matthews, and McGahee is probably going to be the short yardage back. Hopefully for you, they will come in the redzone.

WR--> C+ . Lot of mystery here. Marshall is GREAT, but will Henne get him ball? Ocho is a good fantasy receiver, but hes not in Cincy anymore, will he and Brady find that chemistry? And in general Amendola and Little both have the talent, its just a question of if they will get enough looks to contribute well enough to field a winning fantasy team.

TE-> B- I think a B- is a bit generous because of the QBs throwing to them.

Defense--> A+ Best pickup. If this was an auction draft that could explain some of the picks...

K--> A+ The Chargers score a lot of points. Kaeding is usually pretty busy in fantasy.

Overall--> B-

B+

RB: Rice, Greene, Mathews, McGahee

C+ Rice is money, but the other three are all ? IMO

WR: Marshall, Ochocinco, Smitty, Amendola, Little

C two talented guys with ?able (at best) QBs. Two who will be fighting for playing time. And Ocho's a wildcard, could be Brady's new fav or they might not mesh at all

TE: Lewis, Gresham

B+ Garrard has never had a problem hitting him and TE is usually a young QBs best friend.

D: Jets

A+

K: Kaeding

A- Kaeding is a great kicker, but I like good kickers with bad offenses. Two FGs > four XPs

Overall, depending on how many teams in the league, I'd say C+/B-

    • Yeah it is nice seeing some improvement on the defensive side and the young guys.   I don’t want to think about the future much if Bryce doesn’t heal and we are kept in this limbo via an incomplete test. It is depressing  I don’t have quite as dim a view of the 24 draft class as you do   I have modest hopes for XL compared to none. I like CSW.  Am a little cooler on Sanders but at the same time realized this week that Morgan getting that future 2nd for moving down turned into Scourton. I think. Jackson is a real value in exchange for the guy we took with the 7th. I don’t expect anything from Brooks but Wallace seems to have improved enough to not bust. And Coker is in with them, but is giving us nothing this year. So far, and it is almost half over     I hope Andy still has enough to make watching the offense less of a claustrophobic experience. And there is a small chance we upset the Bills but just playing them tough and making it a fun game to watch will be enough.
    • Bryce haters gunna hate.  Can't change that. Bryce has been pretty durable all things considered.  A couple minor injuries considering how much he was hammered year 1.  And he still takes hits.  Dude is tough. The play in question is a football play, poo happens.  That's ultimately what happened.  Guys running around, trying to stop Young and stuff happened.  Sucks but that's how it goes. For me, I'd rather see Young play.  He will either prove that he's the Dude, a JAG (leaning heavily right now), or an outright bust (some of you were there on draft night, lol)
    • I think we need to let the 2025 class develop. Remember at one point early during last season the 2024 class was gonna be a killer. And we had all kinds of people chirping about how the 2021 Draft was the greatest of all time. Early returns are promising. Let's hope it continues.
