Madden talking about prices? John, tell EA Sports to lower its $60 pricetag for your game if you care so much about us.

I paid $75 for one ticket and $150 for both me and my son to sit 11 rows back at the 50 yard line to watch the Miami Dolphins destroy the Carolina Panthers during a preseason game.....

I just bough Madden for $60 and we have played 4 games so far and by the end of the season, I'll have played at least 100 games....$60 is a great deal for 2800 minutes of entertainment.

You see it's simple supply and demand.

The owners are given massive state subsidies to construct stadiums from which they garner massive profits. In return, they charge exorbitant prices, the increase of which has outpaced inflation, and when the taxpayers in a community who financed their stadium can't afford to fill it to attendance, they deny them the ability to view it on television.

QED

TBH most owners buy up the remaining tickets so it will not get blacked out. I think blackouts are more about the Media than the owners.
