Woah woah woah. I understand if you don't like it, but she is far from ruining songs. For a guy like me, someone who likes acoustic/singer-songwriter/stripped music, this is the kind of music I really enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, the original song is fantastic, but they're not really comparable because this is a completely different rendition of it.

I'm not saying she sounds bad, it's just that Pumped Up Kicks is a song that sounds like it should never be played in an acoustic slow set like it's some romantic ballad about love and loss, it just kills the mood of a dark albeit rather nonsensical song. I could have Mariah Carey in her prime do a ballad version of Soulja Boy's "Crank That", but just because she sounds good doesn't make it good.
