Let’s start with Anderson. His five-year deal included a $7 million signing bonus and a $1.5 million base salary for this year. In 2012, Anderson’s base salary jumps to $2.4 million and he’s scheduled to receive a $100,000 workout bonus. There also is a $100,000 workout bonus for each remaining year on the contract.

In 2013, Anderson’s base salary is scheduled to be $2.9 million. His base salary in 2014 and 2015 is the same -- $3.9 million for each year.

what I really wanted to see was Dwills breakdown.

I don't think anyone but him and the Team know that, I don't see where it was released anywhere.

I do know that he makes roughly what Chris Johnson does, big difference is guaranteed money.

Johnson's deal breaks down as a 6 year deal worth 55 Million w/ 30 million guaranteed. (He was already making 2 million over the next two seasons)

Breaks down to roughly 9.1 million per season.

DeAngelo's contract is a 5 year deal worth 43 million with 21 guaranteed. Makes 6.7 million this season.

Breaks down to 8.6 million per season.

If I find full details I'll post them.

    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
