Which game is everyone watching before ours?

Any game that is on Fox, or NBC..

I will be holding the remote just incase those knuckle-head analysts start focusing to much attention to "their favorite" team...U know how that is...

I don't think the Panthers will be aired on my side of the fence. I think the NY area will get the Giants' game but will be watching the ticker tape to see how the game is going...And I will top off my even with my JETS playing Dallas at 8:00. Yes, football season has officially begun..

I'll be heading out to Glendale in about an hour and a half. I'll be wearing my #34, my son (his first ever NFL game) will be wearing his #89, and my girlfriend (a Cowboys fan) will be forced to wear the brand new #1 I just got her.

Pumped.

Awesome. Your girlfriend might be a big Cam Newton fan if all goes well today. Let's hope so. I hope Cam comes out of the gate in his first regular season NFL game and just blows everyone's minds.

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
