I'm not refering to people here...most are dedicated fans, just your typical Charlottian regarding the Panthers'. This is new and exciting. If the excitement wears off (still not winning many games), the Panthers' gear goes straight back in to the closet.

Sadly I agree...all the close panther fans will be out in full force this year. This is true with most fanbases but ours is worst than most. When my generation grows up, the generation that grew up watching the panthers...there will be a more dedicated/loyal fanbase..I hope.

Packers, Patriots, Pittsburgh, Bears, Colts, Red Sox, Yankees, Cardinals,Cubs, Maple Leafs, Red Wings, etc... Not every town, just ones with a TON of transplants (see Atlanta).
