Scalpers Sunday

But the thing is, you have to go thru about a 30 ft long pat down corral, past the gameday program people, past the gameday freebie people, and finally get to the ticket scanners at the turnstile. The scalper isn't even allowed on the official grounds. He'd have plenty of time to get away before you get to the scanner.

Yeah, it isn't full proof. But a scammer is probably going to be uncomfortable standing around security.

And a lot of them stand up on Church Street ... are they willing to walk down to the stadium every time they sell tickets?

I sold my two extras to one of Stonewall for $100/pair ($97 each face value). The couple who bought them paid him $100 plus their upper level tickets. I thought I was doing OK getting that for them, given how many were available out there.

I never sell to those scumbucket scalpers. I try to see some real fans with their fingers in the air and undercut the bastards whenever possible. I get sick and tired of them yelling at you every two feet while walking to the stadium, "you have extras"?

I tried to sell to "real fans" but several balked, and this fellow came up and gave me what I wanted almost immediately. I did walk past a lot of them (the scalpers) before I even held my tickets up.

Once, I had two extras and this "real fan" with his child gave me a sob story about wanting to go to the game so bad, etc., etc., etc. I actually gave him the tickets. Then, the people who showed up were not that guy and his kid, but a man and woman -- who had purchased the tickets from that guy for 100 bucks. I'll never give my tickets away like that again.

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

here is an idea....

As you are purchasing the ticket, whip out that ol' cell phone with the camera, and tell the scalper you are taking a profile picture of him. (or, you can just take it, then tell him....either way, if you get snubbed, take the photo to the cops, then to the news stations with a police report!

Sunday a guy tried to sell me and my friend some lowers for 40 bucks a piece. We were trashed and bought the tickets. Walked about 15 steps down the street and realized they were 2 rows apart from each other.

Luckily he was still standing on the corner, and we walked back up there. I told the guy I would fug his world up if he didnt give me my money back, and needless to say I got my money back.

On the way in we found even better seats, at the 35 on the LL 9 rows up for the same price.
