For what it is worth, quarterbacks often telegraph the handoff intentionally. Particularly on a play action pass. You are trying to freeze the safeties and then passing over the top behind them where the receivers will be in single coverage with the corner. So why would you intentionally do it on a running play where there was no playaction?? One it makes it easier for the running back to see and collect? Two-Because you want to use the same motion on every play so safeties can't tell if you are running or throwing based on the handoff motion. Plus you want to run a few times to set up the playaction later on in the game.

When do quarterbacks not telegraph the handoff?? On a draw play or gadget play when it is important that defenders believe the Qb still has the ball.

depends on the manner in which they disagree and the person who is disagreeing with you.

Looks like Cam must read this MB. Thanks for working on the problem. It was a bit better today. I must also add that many today looked like busted playes. But over all much better.
