I also get tired of seeing us wear white for the majority of the season. I can understand not wearing black at home early in the year, so how about we wear blue @ home for two of the early games just to change things up a little.

I'm also in favor of the "blackout" look once a year just to mix things up.... go with a black version of our helmet, black jersey and black pants.

Oakland is hotter and they wear the black jerseys way more. It turns fall around September 22 too. Besides, if they're worried about the heat then they can wear white up to week 6. By that time it would be mid October. Or they could stretch it out by wearing a black or blue for an away game some place cooler before week 6 and could wear white well into the end of October by the time they wear black.
