saints are still working on sympathy points for katrina after sucking for 40+ years.

thats why the league is turning the other cheek in that crap.

huge and obvious double standard, though. league is cracking down on cheap and late hits...except when it's the taints. they've been getting away with it for years. it's worse than taping teams, imo.

It would seem so.

The Saints continue to get favorable treatment in some kind of misplaced sympathy for Hurricane Katrina.Brees drops back to throw 50+ times a game but they never ever get a holding call against them

  Every team can do this with their picks. We can just do it more than most because we suck. Drafting poorly tends to result in sucking. It took Belichick's years of poor drafting to catch up to the Pats but once Brady was gone and quality vets were no longer willing to come on a ring chasing discount it raised it's ugly head in a major way. Their overall roster is at least as bad as ours. Arguably worse.
