u guys HAVE to practice if u want to win, and you must have a quick QB.

I'm competitive and don't like losing, especially if the team fee is around $500. I'd rather just blow the money at a bar or on clothes then going out there and getting embarrassed every week. I was the captain of a kickball team w/ co-workers last year, and a couple girls showed up drunk and I was not pleased and made sure to let them know about it. One of the bitches never showed up again after that lol. Which leads me to my other point, make sure you collect the $$$$ up front. No pay = no play.

If yall go out there and just try to play sandlot ball you're going to get worked I can guarantee it. You'll play against some sh*tty teams who don't care and are possibly playing intoxicated, and you'll also run into some very well organized teams with custom jerseys and audibles. You'll also play against assholes who are trying to take their aggression out from riding the bench in high school or they think an NFL scout is watching.

Like I said I played for like 5 years every year and have been on very good teams and bad ones, I am speaking from my personal experience.

One more thing, it was 7 vs. 7 on the leagues I played in, but it is imperative you have at least 10 show up for a game. Some people get winded more than others and some people just want to play offense. It happens every season, people are all gung ho for playing but I can promise you that you will get a text 2 hours before a game at least once with a dude bailing on you for some stupid reason (such as a girlfriend/wife, being hungover, or some lame excuse for being scared or not wanting to get embarrassed). Always make sure you have extra guys that can and want to play.

Went to rdufootball, still has crap up from the spring league I guess. What to do?

there is a small notation about the fall league.. we'll enter in as a team, so if you're interested, I'm getting everyone together next Tuesday around 6:30 at Optimist Park off Six Forks..

I'm gathering everyone up next week, there are a few who may or may not be on board but when they see the team, they should fall in suit.. if so, I'll easily have 14 or 15.. this is when I'll set the expectation on practices, etc..

we are playing 8on8.. I really need to know what rules there are on formations so I can get a playbook going. there is nothing on the site.

I know how I'm going to setup plays and audible.. most of it will be in my head, I'll have a designated word for each player and call out the route # in the huddle.. once on the line I can set up blocking scheme and audible as needed.
