If we was getting blown out, then the morale would be different

But getting so close only to lose our grip sucks. Dealing with the after affects of a loss sucks. Seeing on TV shows Cam big day but we lose again sucks. You almost wonder are we putting too much into this season. I dont think anyone thought playoffs at first, but its so close to our eyesight ever than it has been in 3 years

It's good to feel this way, it could be jump off the bridge time had us fans had to deal with a repeat of last years dismal performances.

That's how I felt last week Beastson... This week is more of a consolation prize, but I'll take what I can. I want us to whoop their FUGGIN asses though. No close win, I want to rub their noses in it!

I think we need one of those type of wins over a respectable opponent to get these guys in the "playoff" mindset.

I'll be happy if we finish with a winning record, but at this point (even though we're 1-4 to this point) anything short of the playoffs will be a disappointment.

In the end, we know what we have here, and I'm excited no matter what!

I live in Atlanta. I really, really, really want us to win this game. Plus it would be like throwing a hand grenade into ATL psyche. I believe any NFC South we beat this year with Cam being a rookie and so many losses on defense is going to be our B#### for the foreseeable future.

      Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.

      Canes are the deepest team in the league.  We have the best 4th line.  Jankowski, Robinson, and Carrier have been very good.
