My First Issue With The Offense

Well according to you I'm dumb so maybe it takes a dumb person. Also takes a dumb person to figure out Cam's looked worse and worse and is reason to worry. He's improvement is not there.

I get the feeling he's all athlete, and little in the ways of student of the game. Many QBs like this have crashed and burn. I was hoping we'd see him on the side lines, discussing plays, figuring out defenses, etc.....like you see all the greats do. So far I'm just seeing a very gifted athlete that has yet to start learning this is a different game compared to college.

You should stop.

They don't and it was pretty obvious today that was all on Cam. We had so many opportunities. First pick wasn't his fault. But the 4th quarter one...reminds me of so many other times when we are in a position to win the games and he makes a bad decision. Either by throwing short of the first down like he did the first two games and we come up 1 yard short, throwing a really horrible pick, missing passes by a mile and today throwing that 4th quarter pick. Rookie or not, it's still on him.

Lol. We are a Coriell Air offense. We're supposed to throw a lot. The question is whether or not Cam's a good fit for it. You need a laser accurate QB to run an offense like this. I'm not sure Cam's a good fit for this style offense because so far his accuracy is suspect.

But yeah we're trying to be a passing team....the question is do we have a QB like Brady, Manning, Rodgers....or do we have a QB more like Vick, Mcnabb, Young, Ben,......

Think about it.

IMO, it seems as this team is trying to do to much at the wrong time and not enough when they should need to.

A team works when most of it's parts are functioning well or when they don't have enough strenght in one area to cover for the other, they are good enough to conpensate.

At the end of the game, each player has to step up and play their position. Receivers on the opposing teams shouldn't look better catching Cam's balls than the Panthers. Cam shouldn't be playing everyone's position on the offensive line either.

It's easy to sit at home and play coaches and players but for someone like myself who is simply happy observing the game, I say, I hope this team fixes what's ever ailing them and not sit there and put an entire game on a rookie QBs back every damn week. Damn ever Steve Smith was MIA in today's game.

Here we go again with the Cam isn't good enough for our team talk because he isn't Peyton. If I'm not mistaken Peyton threw 28 interceptions on his way to ROTY for the Colt his rookie season. I wonder if fans were ishing everytime he threw an interception?

Read what I said. I didn't say not good enough for our team. I said the question is whether he is a good fit for this offense. When you have a primarily passing offense, you need a very accurate QB. It's just a fact. You gotta make few mistakes and a lot of extremely accurate passes.

I don't see Cam as that type of QB.

Yeah, cause he's playing like he's practically the entire team. SMDH..

I see why Clausen hasn't been traded yet. Burn out Cam tyring to get him to do to much by midseason, then replace him with Clausen.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
