If Chud stays, do you think we will ever be able to...

No he is talking about me.

I never went to school, I am 5 foot 3 and weigh 345lbs.

I live in my moms basement and I mod for a living.

I heard modding pays well.

does your mommy change your diaper?

No.

I liked this board better when it was about football.

And I've only been here like a month.

WTF happened?

Haha this board hasn't been about football for a lot longer than a month.

Incorporate Cam Newton, DeAngelo Williams, and Jonathan Stewart into a dynamic, yet balanced offense of pass plays and run plays like he was able to do with Phillip Rivers, LaDanian Tomlinson, Michael Turner, and Darren Sproles?

I just find it real difficult to understand why Cam is throwing 36 passes per game and DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart are combining for only 18 carries a game.

Let's not forget Cam Cameron was the OC in San Diego during much of the prime days with those players you mentioned and Clarence Slelmon is the OC now. Chud ran tight ends in SD.

Why do you ask me questions like that when you know I don't memorize everyone's posts.

Someone probably comparing Cam to Rivers because they have a similar # of interceptions or some poo. Trust me, it's been done.

I think I made the exact same post after they said it. Turn on search and I will. It was to the effect of "You think Rivers is missing Chud right now?

Actually Cam Cameron was only there 1 year for that group, the 14-2 year.

After that they fired Marty, both offensive (Cam) and defensive (Wade) coordinators left for HC jobs, lost Michael Turner to Atlanta, Merriman got busted for roids, LT and Cromarite regressed big time until both were let go and went to the Jets.

They were dominant that year, it took some profoundly stupid play to lose to the pats that year in the playoffs.

Yeah, I know but I do believe that watching and learning can be great asset especially when it comes to coaching. Now I don't doubt that it will eventually become a pretty stable offense but I am just hoping that we see more play calling like we saw in the Washington game rather then what we saw in the Green Bay game.

after this year we may never see anything close to a 50/50 balance here (not that we will be close to that this year) and we don't need to.

been said many times before. league has become a pass heavy league and this team is following suit. throwing and running when we need to is the key. striving for a 50/50 balance will only hurt you. you don't win games by striving for balance in stats. you win games by doing what is necessary to win in the current situation. for the present and heading into the future, that means throwing the ball more than you pass and having the offense be on the QBs shoulders rather than the RBs shoulders.

Should have told J.R. before he payed D-Will.

meh....we haven't had a history of having healthy RBs. the better the depth we have there, the better the run game will be.

there was always a chance that things wouldn't go well with the passing game. if it didn't we were going to have to be relying on the run game more, in which case we would be relying more on dwill and stewart.

hindsight 20/20.

it wasn't a mistake to keep williams around. i don't care about the price tag and i won't debate that. he should have been kept. i've said it all along, you don't make a team stronger by dismantling it's strongest point. you build around it. 34&28 helps make this team strong and makes the run attack even more lethal.

there is no way i would have wanted to go into this season with stewart and goodson as the choices. i don't care if you throw in sutton with that.

williams makes the team stronger on the field and in the lockerroom. he makes what would be a great run game with stewart and newton a much better run game.

old argument, btw. he's here. he'll be around for a while. get used to it and quityerbitchin.
