Semi-Official Premature Huddle Draft Board

I worry about Jeffrey since he seems out of shape or something and that's usually a big bad sign for someone who just skirts by on talent.

Agree. I guess leave the 'best playmaker on the board' determinant to the scouts and guys who can get inside info. But take a playmaker to go alongside with what we already have, someone who can be here into the next generation with Cam... and then go defense the rest of the draft and FA to add to what we have.

We will be in the playoffs next year with health and that mix

How many posts will it take for you numbnuts to realize offense isn't the problem. Other than RT, the offense is producing the way they should. Our DE's are fine. We won't draft another DT. Right now our biggest positions of need are OLB, CB, and Safety and OT. What is another WR gonna do for this defense? I really like Burfict as he would bring a menace to this unintimidating defense. Corner needs to be addressed in the 2nd round. After that it's BPA at OT, S, CB, and maybe WR, maybe. I'm really looking forward to gaining a top talent on the defensive side of the ball in the upcoming draft.

Alshon Jeffrey then go D rest of the draft.

Don't pass up an elite talent on offense who can change games for years.

What this guy said. Its BECAUSE Cam is so good, we need a dominating WR or O lineman to make him INSANELY GOOD with a 1st round pick. We can address other needs through later draft picks and free agency. Since we will probably be drafting almost all defense anyway, might as well get a huge weapon on Offense.

I think Lafell definitely has what it takes to be a very solid #2 WR, we just don't know about Gettis right now. I know this is a rehashed argument, but Steve Smith will only gets older from here and will not last beyond 5 more years in my opinion. If we take blackmon, jeffery, or the dude from notre dame we still have time to groom them to be the heir apparent to #1 role while steve smith can teach them and still be a valuable asset to our offense.

I would like a WR core of Smith and Jeffery at the #1 WR slot with Gettis and LaFell at the #2 slot. Sounds very good to me. Pilares can stay as a KR possibly, Naanne should probably leave to open the doors for Gettis and LaFell.

hmm just like there was no QB to take within the top 15 last year as many stamped and pouted about when we took Cam(maybe not you but many did). Unless we have some secret scouts around here we won't know where players are going to be drafted until close to draft time.

I was one of the Pro Cam fans.So you don't have to tell me. I thought we should of taken Cam number 1 but people thought i was Crazy. Trust me Does DT's wont be better then what we have.

Watch this video, Coples even lines up on the interior a few times:

Coples has seen playing time since stepping onto campus as a freshman in 2008. The Tar Heels haves used him at both defensive end and defensive tackle (junior in 2010), but Coples is back at DE right now as a senior and that will be his position in the NFL. The Kinston, NC native had 6.5 tackles for loss and five sacks as a sophomore then erupted as a junior with 10 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss. He has been a little inconsistent through eight games as part of a star-studded North Carolina defense, recording 4.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss.

With outstanding size at 6'6'' and 285 pounds, Coples projects to be a star end in a 4-3 scheme at the next level. He has speed in the 4.7 range in the 40-yard dash and has been clocked as fast as 4.67 from that distance. Even though he is a versatile defender who can play both end and tackle, Coples needs to improve against the run. Coples would also do well to develop a signature move that he can use to get past offensive tackles since he does not have the speed to consistently blow by them (although simply overpowering them is an option). With a strong performance at the combine, Coples can cement himself as the top end in the 2012 draft and he could even be a Top 5 selection.

Good grief. Alshon Jeffery is not overweight. This was addressed over the offseason. There was a picture that made him look like he is and all of a sudden he is labeled as lazy, fat, overrated, has attitude problems, etc. Spurrier, Alshon, Spurrier Jr. and others commented on this a while back. Alshon is one of the hardest workers on the team. Not to mention he is humble and a great leader. All of this fat, lazy crap was started by the media and is just being echoed by ignorant "fans".
