Saints Accused of Being Dirty Again - Blowing Whistle On Sideline and More

I don't care how dirty a football player he is or is perceived to be. To wish career ending bodily harm on him because you don't like the way he plays is just not something that is not cool with me. He could be the guy that makes Bill Romonowski look like a boy scout and I wouldnt wish a career ending injury on him. I might wish the league would ban him but I wouldn't want to see him crippled.

That's a human being with a family and people who love him.

Some of you take this poo way too seriously.

An eye for an eye. Steve Smith and Nate Washington are trying to earn a living and have families too.

He's a dirtbag. That humanitarian stuff doesn't fly when you have someone out there purposely trying to mess people up long-term. I'd usually be right there with you, but Harper has proven to be a special case.

Yeah, that's the problem. They are coached to play dirty and the NFL is ignoring it. They overdid it with the Katrina-pity and don't want to tarnish the "glorious rebuilding" and what an integral part the NFL had in "bringing that city back to life". Why anyone would want to bring a meth-ravaged, diseased ***** back to life is beyond me, but that's a different topic.

It's amusing how people equate a few penalties in a child's game to basically what is smack about a natural disaster and millions of people. Really shows priorities.

A hurricane is a natural occurrance, relatively common to the Eastern/Southeastern coast of the U.S. Those people chose to build on and live in a low-lying, swampy flood plain. They new what was coming and refused to leave. The state government new what was coming and refused to do anything about it besides shifting the blame to the federal level. When trapped after ignoring every warning they received, those people took to looting, rape, and murder, then started screaming "Where's FEMA?" when their own state refused FEMA's offers of help before the storm. Guilt trip effect = minimal.

I guess all the 90% of the city and the metro area that left are just as the same as the poor blacks who stayed?

Those that were smart enough to leave were rewarded: with their lives. Those that were smart enough to purchase the best possible flood insurance money could buy when living in the middle of a bog were covered financially. Those that want to get pissy about a comment concerning the filthiness of a city, whether before or after a storm hits it, can hit up Wal-Mart for some Kleenex.

But...but...I have lots of black friends. Well, there's that one guy I work with. Like that one time when the boss called us in on Saturday, and I said "James, can you believe this? The Man's just trying to keep us down, huh?" and he called me a punkass fool. Punkass means hardcore cool, right? Yeah, we're boys.

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
