5 Spots are yet to be clinched.

The Broncos can clinch with a win at the Bills next week.

The Giants control their fate. If they beat the Jets and Cowboys, they'll win the NFC East.

The Jets vs. Giants game will be huge next week since both teams need to keep winning to make the playoffs. The Jets play Matt Moore in Week 17 which basically makes them eliminated.

The Falcons and Lions should easily clinch soon. Falcons have a game with TB left and the Lions will play the Packers in week 17 who will likely be resting their starters.

My prediction for AFC playoffs

Patriots

Texans

Steelers

Broncos

Ravens

Bengals

And the NFC

Packers

49ers

Saints

Giants

Falcons

Lions

another fact is that the teams matt has played in week 17 have had nothing to play for and is benching starters before the playoffs

something the jets probably aren't going to be doing given their standing right now.

Another fact is that Matt Moore doesn't coach the teams he faces and has no control as to whether they bench or do not bench players. You play whoever is across the line of scrimmage.

Jets are going down. Won't even matter when they lose to the Giants next week. Jets will not win another game this season. Fatty is gonna have a heart attack when he sees how much Moore has improved since last time they faced off.

And the Ginger will beat the Texans in the playoffs. Book it.

      This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible.  Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.

      None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency.  Alas,  we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.
