The 1998 Kansas City Chiefs, the most-penalized team in NFL history, suffered their most inglorious moment in a Monday night meltdown against Denver that had to be seen to be believed.

Denver's Hall of Fame tight end, Shannon Sharpe, kept reciting numbers at the line of scrimmage -- three before first down, three before second down, four before third down -- that turned out to be the telephone number of the girlfriend of Kansas City's Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas. With each digit that Sharpe called out, Thomas became more enraged, to the point that he drew two personal foul penalties for pulling and twisting Sharpe's face mask.

Wonder if delonte west does the same thing to lebron?

skeptical about that whole story. why would an nba player fug a hideous old woman? especially a teammate's mom, just doesn't make much sense. although apparently delonte west is a skitzo or something so i guess i wouldn't rule out the possibility.

And to be able for the rest of your life to say, "Yeah, I fugged Lebron's mama."

    • I am hoping that he is depth.  We have Moehrig and Ransom and now Simmons--all the same kind of player (Simmons more special teams, but I think they might find a role for him in some packages). We need 2 free safeties---so I get this re-signing, especially if they plan to draft one.  Would safety be the biggest bang for the buck concerning 2016?   Possibly, now that we have an NFL starting C and LT.  Now that we seem to have addressed Edge and ILB.  I think too many Panther fans and Huddlers are overlooking DT and I am still curious about TE--they seem to bring it up more than we do.   In my view, based on what you say above--is why we need a QB at free safety--not somebody who gets confused and burned due to poor reads.
    • His arm's aren't long enough for Carolina scouting staff for what the coaching staff wants for in a TE. I don't think he'll make the cut to be a selection at 19.
    • Wouldn’t be opposed to it, either he balls with Bryce or the next qb who comes in to a loaded offense. but I’m more on the side of draft defense since they’re closer to elite than the offense.
