The Golden Calf of Bristol will be a career backup and all his homo fans will swear the NFL just isn't smart enough to utilize his otherwise horrible talent...

i disagree, i think he will eventually be an average QB and because of his running, i think he will be a good QB with average passing and above average running. like i said, the Newton comparison is dumb because he wont ever be Newton, maybe a Vince Young with a better attitude, but not Newton, the only Newton comparison i could agree with is Luck and that's only because we would've taken Luck if he came out, that comparison actually makes sense.

I like that you compared him to Vince Young, who is, after all, a backup in the NFL.. ;)

Yea but the backup for the 100 million dollar man

I like your logic.. so Curtis Painter backed up Manning, Manning >>>>> Vick, Painter >>>>> Young..?

why did we even draft Cam when we could have traded for Curtis Painter 3 years ago for a 1st round pick?

BUT i fully believe that his attitude is a MAJOR part of why he's a backup. i am sure that if he would've been on the same page with his coach and didnt argue with him and have other issues that he would be starting somewhere and i think The Golden Calf of Bristol (unlike Young) will try to work on his flaws, like i said, i dont see him being Newton, oh no, but maybe if he works hard, a Jason Campbell like passer.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
