What do I do with my 16 year old?

Didn't read all 7 pages so don't know if it was mentioned, but when I took drivers ed, they got us to drive Independence Blvd in 5 o'clock rush hour traffic. Gets you over the timid thing rather quickly. And once you drive there in that situation, you can drive pretty much anywhere in Char.

get him an old car with cheap insurance, make sure he wears his seat belt. cross your fingers and pray.

I waited an extra 6 months after I turned 16 because I Knew that I wasn't ready. And to be honest, I think most of my friends should have done the same because they damn sure weren't. Tickets, wrecks, and everything else under the sun.

16 really is young for some imo, because a lot of 16 year olds aren't mature enough to handle it. He has all of his life to have his license and drive a car, a little more time won't kill him.

16 is very young for some... He's doing pretty well... So far he's only driven to school and back by himself. He had some activities this weekend that won't end until after 9PM so we had to take him...

I learned to drive on frozen lakes..nothing to hit, nothing in the way, and damn, it sure taught me alot about using that gas pedal and brake and slides and poo like that,
