Cam Ward with another "save of the year." On a shorthanded attempt he took a shot from a two on one and I believe the shot went of the shaft of his stick. It was an incredible save.

This young team just doesn't give the same effort that former Canes teams that were much less talented have given. Skinner and Faulk the two youngest guys on this team seem to give the most effort on the team and the veterans need to start looking at how these young guys play because this team is on the decline and if a lot of them don't start giving the effort that say Cory Stillman, Glen Wesley, Rod Brind'Amour, and Ray Whitney gave when they were with the Canes then this team with look drastically different come next year.

Ward is playing one of his best games this season in my opinion. We are being out-shot 27-22 and the scoring chances don't really even seem close. Wardo and the goal by Samson (obviously) is keeping us in this game.

On the bright side, he is creating opportunities; that is something that no other player besides Eric Staal, Brandon Sutter, Tuomo Ruutu, Jussi Jokinen, and Jeff Skinner can do on this team.
