I could go for OL in the first, I really could. Safe bet is OL cause there is seems to be a shortage of "wow" D linemen in this draft.

I see your dilemma if you do not like Brockers. The OTs are probably a safe bet. And I can say that nobody--including GMs--can tell you that Mercilus will not be a 10-time pro bowler as a 4-3 DE. We are all going on limited info-- speculations. When I read that only 60% of first rounders succeed in the NFL, and they are interviewed, weighed, timed, prodded, measured, etc, and they come with hours and hours of college game tape, it tells me that NOBODY knows a thing about this. Mercilus was productive in college, and he could be a sack artist in the NFL as well. Who are we to say or know?

My biggest attraction to Mercilus is his ability to pry the ball free. Do we need to review the turnover/win ratio again? We need defenders that can make things happen and he is the closes thing in this draft.

I like this draft. Although if you would take a DE and LB in the first two rounds you might as well take the best olb then in the second take a DE. That's just me though.
