With the uncertainty of our linebacker situation and Connor possibly walking I got to thinking we may look at a mike before an outside guy. Then I found this highlight video on CockyTalk and was blown away because I never noticed how instinctive he really is.

P.S. I like how he reads, and scrapes... not very athletic looking while at full stride, and tackles too high, but he can diagnose and get through the wash. Good instincts.

That's kind of how I felt. The tackling thing could be taught I imagine. I just love how he was able to get off blocks so easily and how well he was able to jump on the screen pass.

I see what you mean about his instincts. He seems pretty slow though. Certainly worth consideration in the 6th or so (just about anybody is).
