I wish you wr people get a life. If gettis or lafell. Were drafted in the 1st round. These stupid threads wouldn't be happening. But you have to have a shinny new toy at any cost. Our defense gives up 485 points and we have the 5th scoring offense with no offseason and a rookie qb. But you still need a flashy wr. I just don't get it. I could see if the defense stoped any body but they even let the colts. Get 21 points.

Why didn't you just put this in your other thread? Outside of maybe a few options in the second round (Jerrel Worthy for example) I just don't see us drafting a DT outside of the first round. We either draft a DT in the first round or we don't draft one at all until possibly really late in the draft. We are stocked at average DT talent. We either go big or go home on that position in this draft.

To continue on my above point. It just doesn't make any sense to further clog up the DT position with 2-5th round talent, when we have two 3rd's from last years draft as well as various other pieces from FA from last year already there. Fua and McClain with most definitely have progressed from last year, and outside of freak talents like Suh, DT's are very rarely dominant their first year.

The only defensive players that make sense long term are Brockers from LSU as our Nose tackle and Fletcher from MSU as our Under Tackle.

Both would be a mid-teens selection and a trade down scenario and will add considerable depth to our line and extra picks in the draft.

At defensive ends, you have players like Ingram and Coples that seem out of place or inconsistent.

Coples seems like a J. Peppers 2.0 player and would be a good pick, but I would rather go offense.

I don't see a offensive player in this draft that will dramaticly changes our offense. I'm not sure blackmon nor floyd beat out lafell and gettis.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to waste our 9th pick on offense. The only way that I would draft an offensive player in the first was if we traded back into the teens and Blackmon fell that far by some miracle.

Not true. I play too much Madden probly. I'm tired of seeing my defense get ran over. I'm remind of how much our DBs suck everytime someone throws a bomb.

cornerback, linebacker, defensive line... one each of those guys in the top five rounds and I'm happy. joe adams and a punter would be icing on the cake.

OP mentioned Danny Trevathan. Mark my words, he will be an absolute beast. I guarantee you he is one of the best linebackers in this years class. People just don't realize it yet.
