Foxsport's All-Overpaid, All-Underpaid Teams

Panthers make two appearances on the list:

All-Underpaid Offense:

Guard: Keydrick Vincent, Panthers

Vincent has started for three other teams (Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Arizona) but may have found a permanent home as Carolina's starting right guard after signing a modest two-year, $1.95 million contract during the off-season. The strength of Carolina's running game is to the right behind Vincent and rookie tackle Jeff Otah, who has benefited from the former's tutelage. Vincent received a $400,000 signing bonus from the Panthers and has a $785,000 base salary.

All-Overpaid offense:

Guard: Jeremy Bridges, Panthers

A journeyman backup, Bridges should be grateful for his $1.73 million salary for 2008. Bridges, though, placed his future with Carolina in jeopardy by getting arrested Saturday for the second time in 14 months after a nightclub incident. An NFL suspension also seems likely.

Dont get why Bridges is on the list. Yea yea hes a douche for getting arrested...again, but still hes filled in for some crucial games with Otah out. I would imagine that there are far more deserving O-Lineman in the league that should be on the list before him. Just does not make sense to me.

My man Keydrick Vincent on the other hand deserves to be on that list and then some. I remember when we first picked him up everyone thought it was gonna be Fonnoti, or Milford Brown, but not Key. Now look at him blastin open holes that are bigger than the gap between Strahans front teeth. Gotta love the guy.

They just put bridges on there because of the recent news, depth on the line is very valuable and we've needed his services many times this year and last

I just don't get it, if it's your job to do these kind of things why can't they get it right?

At least they should recruit local sportswriters like some sites do, that well it's always well informed and always based on reason

If you get into off-the-field incidents that cause you to miss multiple games in consecutive seasons, I'd consider that a very large negative. Didn't Bridges miss two games last year because of the bar incident? And now he's going to probably miss some games this year too. That's huge. You pay a guy nearly $2 million dollars and he misses 1/8 of the year because of legal issues. If any of us did that we'd get fired from our jobs.

    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
