Draft With A Trade Involved.

The Eagles may or may not want to jump division rival Cowboys. Moving up 6 spots allows them more confidence either Fletcher Cox, Riley Reiff, or Micheal Floyd will be there. Also it will not cost alot of picks to move up. The Eagles have two 2nd round picks as well, so they have the ammo. So...

Lets say we call the Eagles. Move down to 15 and gain the second of the Eagles 2nd round picks.

1. Dre Kirkpatrick CB / Alabama

2a. Jerel Worthy DT / Michigan St.

2b. Zach Brown OLB / UNC

4. T.Y. Hilton KR/WR / FIU

5. Russell Wilson QB / NC St.

Come on man.

well, Philly just signed Demetress Bell so they wouldnt trade up for Reiff. I don't see them taking a WR in round one with much bigger needs at LB and DT. They could move up for Kuechly, Poe, or Cox...or if they like Brockers.

I would like the first pick, but Zach Brown blows. He can't tackle. In the game vs Missouri he probably missed ten tackles in the first quarter alone. no thanks. as far as Russell Wilson is concerned...why? we re-signed Derek Anderson and kept Jimmy clausen(so far) so why would we draft a career backup just because he has somewhat similar skillsets to Cam? I know most everyone on here wants a QB that can run to develop behind Cam but isn't it a bit too early to do that? not round wise but year wise. I would at least wait until next year to draft a QB only if we let Anderson walk and cut Clausen(if he isnt a free agent or whatever)

other than the Brown and Wilson picks, It's just ok. Worthy has some work ethic issues but that could be fixed after Rivera gets in his ear a time or two

What about this variation of your first 4 picks, which I think are better players.

1. CB J.Jenkins

2a. DT J.Worthy

2b. LB B.Wagner

4. WR AJ Jenkins

wouldn't love this only because of the risky Jenkins pick. both Gilmore and Kirkpatrick would be safer picks than him at 15. I wouldn't mind it though

I understand why people are wary of Jenkins. Although, he seems to be saying the right things and if our front office thinks he's contrite then I see no reason why they shouldn't select him. I thought maybe at 15, people could warm up to him. He's a better overall CB than Dre and Gilmore.

    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). • He was a more accurate passer at 56.2%. That's what I mean. Even by outlier standards, this dude was inaccurate. Closest I can recall to something like that would have been one of those GT QB's like Reggie Ball. Career 48.6% passer.
