I don't think many mobile QB's ran the hurry up that much, but the fact he's learning how to do things from the line and get down signals to WR's and TE's etc, is pretty damn special. Cam is VERY smart.

Newton recently returned from IMG Academies, the Bradenton, Fla., training center where he prepared for his rookie season with former Panthers quarterback Chris Weinke. Weinke had Newton call the Panthers’ plays, use their cadences at the line of scrimmage and make all the throws in the playbook.
