OMG...... Start looking into the facts. Im not saying that Fitz is not one of the best WR's in the league. And Im sorry to say this, but Kurt was not benched for Matt. He had a hand injury that was causing him to fumble the snap and could not control his throws. This took place in to 2006. This is the same season that Fitz had only 69 Receptions and 946 yards. once Kurt came back the next season, Fitz had 100 receptions and over 1400 yards.

The facts are Fitz had a Hall of fame Qb throwing to him for 5 out of his 7 years in the NFL. Smitty has not. Jake yes is a gun slinger everyone knows that. Jake was a game manager everyone knows that. Jake was not a Qb that you could put the ball in his hands and say win it for us. He has to have a run game to support his passing game. this was proven all to well when the cardinal kicked our ass in the playoffs. the coaching staff abandoned the run (which was retarded since D. wil had almost 60 yards in the first QTR) and turned it over to Jake.

The point is that Larry and Andrea have had Pro bowl or Future hall of fame QB's throwing to them most of their career’s Jake has not.

also think of this Smitty as stated before is only 5' 10" and both Fitz and Johnson are 6' 3".

I’m not disagreeing with Fitz and Johnson being a great Wr's and probably future HOF players. But they have had a better QB's throwing them the ball for longer in their careers that Smith has. That’s the painful truth. Jake (love him like I do) is not where in the same universe of a Kurt Warner or Matt Schaub. He never had the arm strength or the vision. Jake would freak out to fast in a game and lose the game with his poor decision making.

For the facts that Steve has done as much if not more with less talent and no supporting WR's for most of his career to take the double and triple coverage’s off of him, I have to rank him in the top 3 WR's in the NFL today.

Tell what other WR's do things like this year in and year out. I have seen none. Drive determination and love for his team and the fans drive this man (Along with the very Large chip on his shoulder from years of Coaches saying his was to small for the NFL) has mad ehim one of the most explosive and dangerous WR's in the NFL!

Sorry, but saying Fitzgerald had a Hall Of Fame QB play for 5 yrs is an utter joke. Warner wasnt that HOF guy outside of a very brief window AZ. Homer logic being applied there to make it out like Fitz had this great edge.

Jake Delhomme was asked to win games. Name a QB from 03-07 with more comeback victories? He played on a running team but was asked to make big throws.

LMAO....Andre Johnson hasnt had hall of fame/pro bowl QB play most of his career....one pro bowl season is all a QB has done in HOU.

Kurt Warner is more than what he did in Arizona.. or do we forget about the greatest show on turf and the passing records he set. the MVP title the Super Bowl MVP title.

Also making the Pro bowl in the AFC is hard enough. two of the QB slots are taken every year with Manning and Brady.

Jakes "big" throws were not that big. They were made big by Steve breaking tackles and using his returner skills.

You need to read more than you do. every single analyst out there will say the say thing. If Steve had a different offensive system and a higher rated QB, his numbers would even better than they are now. Steve never had a supporting cast i(regarding other WR's) to take the pressure off of him and yet he still got it done. You seem to think that Jake made Steve look good. It’s just the opposite. Great WR's will make a mediocre QB look great. Just like a great QB will make a mediocre WR look great.

Hell many people will say the Emmitt smith was not the best RB in the league. He was made to look that good because of the massive Oline he ran behind for so many years.

Now take into consideration that all of these WR's except Steve has had pro bowl QB's. Also take into consideration that steve was drafted as a return man and did not become a true reciever until his third season. Also he missed the entire 2004 season do to a broken leg in the opening game against Green Bay.

Not taking anything away from Calvin, but he was also for his entire career in a pass happy offensive system.

Now this list does not contain Victor cruz since its only his second season and Im sorry the same for Green and the kid the falcons drafted.

So for the most part, Steves numbers have come from 9 seasons 8 if you want to subtract the 2010 season where there was no real QB to speak of.

I would put him at leas t#2 to #3 in the NFL

You also have to factor in all those other guys have played in pass heavy offenses the majority of there careers. Smitty has put up his numbers playing in a run heavy offense for the majority of his career.

CRA.. You need to get your facts correct. Kurt Warner played for the Cardinals for 5 seasons not 1. thats leaves only 2 seasons that Fitz played with a so so QB.

Fitz has played 8 seasons not 7. You should at least use correct facts before telling that to someone else.
