Jeffri Chadiha's Top 10 Receivers

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised Colston hasn't made anyone else's list. I know he plays for the Saints*, but he has had at least 1,000 yards receiving all but one year, and that's because he only played 11 games that year.

I know he has Drew Brees as his quarterback, but we could also say that Smitty has Cam and Megatron has Stafford (No, I'm not comparing Cam and Stafford to Brees). The point being made is that most good receivers also have good quarterbacks (except for Fitzy lol) so by just looking at the receiver alone, I would have to put Colston in the top ten.

And as far as Wes goes, I see him nothing more than a system guy.

I get that argument to a degree. But Ochocinco had some pro bowl years in Cincinnati. He goes to New England and disappears in that system. It's a good fit but you can't take away all the credit from the WR. Welker can make Brady look good and Steve can make Cam look good. It goes both ways. That Welker drop was a bad pass btw.

If you're gonna include Green and Cruz based off one year then I think you have to include Jordy Nelson as well. 68 catches, 1263 yards, 18.6 avg, 15 TDs. Yeah Rodgers was his QB but he was sharing targets with Jennings, Jermichael Finley, James Jones, Driver, and 50+ catches for the backs.

I agree with this, I stayed away from one year players because I need to see more than just one year's worth to consider them a top 10 receiver (i.e. Miles Austin).
